Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions govern your access to and use of www.cepi.pk and the CEPI mobile apps. Please read them carefully before enrolling in a course.

Last updated: July 8, 2026

1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account, enrolling in a course, or otherwise using www.cepi.pk or the CEPI mobile apps (together, the “Platform”), operated by CEPI Pakistan / Competitive Exams Preparatory Institute (“CEPI”, “we”, “us”, “our”), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Platform. If you are under 18, you confirm that a parent or guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.

2. Description of service

CEPI provides structured online courses organized into Courses, Modules, and Lessons, including video lectures, articles, downloadable slides/PDFs, and quizzes, for FSc, entry-test, and competitive-exam preparation (including CSS/PMS and one-paper programs). Content is delivered via the website and, for enrolled students, via our Android, iOS, and Windows apps. We may add, modify, or discontinue courses, features, or content at any time.

3. Eligibility & account registration

  • You must provide accurate, current information (name, email, phone, and where requested, gender) when registering, and keep it up to date.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and for all activity on your account.
  • You may register directly or via Google Sign-In. You must verify your email address using the 6-digit verification code sent to you before accessing full account features.
  • One account may not be shared between multiple people. Creating duplicate accounts to evade enrollment, payment, or device-binding rules is prohibited.

4. Account security & device-binding policy

To protect our course content and keep learning accounts personal to the enrolled student, CEPI binds each account to one trusted browser on the web and one device per platform class (mobile, desktop) in the app. If you sign in from a new device, your previous device may be blocked and a cooldown period may apply before a new device can be bound. You can request a device reset in-app or by contacting support, and CEPI's admin team may reset your device binding at its discretion. Attempting to bypass, automate, or circumvent this policy is a violation of these Terms.

5. Enrollment & payments

  • Free courses are activated automatically on enrollment, with no payment required.
  • Paid courses are currently enrolled through manual bank transfer: you submit your transfer reference, payer name, and phone number, and our team reviews and approves the payment before enrollment is activated. Please allow reasonable time for review, and keep your transfer receipt until enrollment is confirmed.
  • Prices are listed in PKR unless stated otherwise and may change at any time; changes do not affect an enrollment already paid for.
  • You must not submit false, altered, or duplicate transfer references. CEPI may decline or reverse enrollment created through fraudulent or erroneous payment submissions.
  • Where alternate payment gateways (such as JazzCash or Stripe) are enabled in the future, additional gateway-specific terms may apply and will be presented at checkout.

6. Refunds & cancellations

Because course access is granted promptly after payment approval, all course fees are generally non-refundable once enrollment has been activated, except where required by applicable law or expressly agreed by CEPI in writing (for example, a duplicate payment or a course that was never made accessible to you due to our error). Refund requests should be sent to the contact details in Section 16, along with your payment reference, and will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

7. Intellectual property & content license

All course content — including video lectures, lesson text, slides/attachments, quiz questions, and course materials — is owned by CEPI or its instructors and licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. Upon successful enrollment, CEPI grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and view the applicable course content for your personal, non-commercial, educational use for as long as your enrollment remains active. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, publicly display, sell, sublicense, or otherwise exploit any course content without CEPI's prior written consent.

8. Acceptable use & prohibited conduct

You agree not to:

  • Share your account credentials or otherwise allow another person to access the Platform using your account.
  • Attempt to download, screen-record, capture, rip, or otherwise circumvent the tokenized/DRM-protected delivery of lesson videos, including bypassing device or platform screenshot protections.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, scrape, or probe the Platform, or attempt to bypass device-binding, enrollment, or payment-verification controls.
  • Upload or transmit any unlawful, infringing, defamatory, or harmful content through contact forms, reviews, or quiz submissions.
  • Use automated tools (bots, scripts) to access the Platform except where we explicitly permit it (for example, published API integrations).
  • Interfere with or disrupt the security or performance of the Platform, including our video CDN and payment-review workflow.

Violation of this section may result in suspension or termination of your account without refund, as described in Section 13.

9. Reviews & user-submitted content

If you submit a course review, rating, contact-form message, or other content to the Platform, you confirm it is accurate, lawful, and does not infringe any third party's rights. You grant CEPI a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, use, and moderate this content in connection with operating the Platform (for example, showing your course review publicly). CEPI may remove or edit any submitted content at its discretion, including reviews that are abusive, spam, or clearly inaccurate.

10. Third-party services & links

The Platform relies on third-party providers, including Bunny.net for video delivery and Google for optional sign-in. The Platform may also contain links to third-party websites (for example, social media). CEPI is not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of any third-party service or website, and your use of them is governed by their own terms.

11. Disclaimer of warranties

The Platform and all course content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. While we work to keep the Platform accurate, available, and free of errors, CEPI does not warrant that: the Platform will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free; course content will guarantee any particular exam result or outcome; or defects will be corrected immediately. To the maximum extent permitted by law, CEPI disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, CEPI, its officers, instructors, and staff shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of exam results, income, or data, arising out of or related to your use of the Platform. Where liability cannot be excluded, CEPI's total liability for any claim relating to the Platform is limited to the amount you paid for the specific course giving rise to the claim in the twelve months preceding the claim.

13. Suspension & termination

CEPI may suspend or terminate your account and access to any course, without prior notice, if you violate these Terms, misuse the Platform (including device-binding or DRM circumvention), submit fraudulent payment information, or if required by law. You may stop using the Platform and request account deletion at any time by contacting us; this does not entitle you to a refund except as described in Section 6.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Lahore, Pakistan.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to our Platform, courses, payment methods, or legal requirements. We will post the updated Terms on this page with a revised “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
